Objects
Amanda’s object-based practice moves between jewellery, sculpture and material experiment — exploring line, structure, transformation and surface through wire, copper and found forms.
Working intuitively with woven wire, oxidation and reactive processes, the pieces evolve through layering, tension and unpredictability. Many works blur the boundaries between wearable object, artefact and sculptural form, reflecting an ongoing interest in material behaviour, erosion and transformation.
Sculptural wearable pieces created through handformed wire, woven structures and organic freeform line.
Wirework Jewellery
Patina & Surface Works
Experimental copper and brass wearable art and jewellery exploring oxidation, erosion, corrosion, oxidation and transformation through reactive layered patrina processes. These works investigate the unpredictable beauty of surface change and transformation.
Sculptural
Sculptural vessel forms enveloped in tangles wire structures resembling roots, vines and geological systems shaped through time.
