About the Work
Amanda’s work explores the relationship between material, process and transformation. Whether expressed through painting, jewellery or object-making, each piece evolves through an intuitive dialogue with its materials, where layering, chance and careful intervention shape the final outcome.
Working across copper, brass, paint and mixed media, Amanda embraces the unpredictable nature of each material, allowing subtle variations in colour, texture and surface to become part of every finished piece.
Original paintings, objects and jewellery are made in small numbers or as one-off works, each reflecting the unique character of the creative process.
Jewellery
From intricate wirework jewellery to contemporary copper and silver pieces, Amanda’s jewellery spans almost two decades of making. Current work explores hand-finished surfaces using patinas, engraving, painting and mark making, creating small wearable artworks where no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
